In March, THACO AUTO enhanced sales skills and brand/product knowledge for its managers, specialists, and sales consultants through various training sessions. Notably, the BMW Focus Training and MINI Focus Training sessions were conducted on March 11-18 in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Led by Mr. Nicholas Day, a dedicated training expert from BMW Asia, these programs provided participants with in-depth knowledge and practical sales skills specifically tailored to BMW and MINI car models.
Later, THACO AUTO conducted specialized ICT Sales Manager training for BMW Sales Managers and Deputy Managers from select Northern units. The program culminated in an evaluation by Mr. Feisal, a Sales Training Specialist from BMW Asia, where participants took a test and received personalized feedback on their performance. Upon successful completion, they were awarded prestigious International Certificates from BMW.
In the first quarter of 2024, THACO AUTO invested in upskilling its workforce by sending Product Leaders and Managers to the prestigious BMW Training Development Programme at the BMW Malaysia Training Center. This initiative aimed to enhance the pedagogical expertise of THACO AUTO's internal BMW instructors, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to effectively train future staff within the unit.
In addition to in-depth training programs on products and professional sales skills, THACO AUTO also implements professional training programs.
On March 2, THACO AUTO held a legal training program specifically designed for Provincial Companies, focusing on the topic of "Consumer Rights Protection Law." This training equipped participants with an understanding of THACO AUTO's regulations regarding customer complaint handling. By aligning with legal requirements and ensuring prompt resolution of customer issues, the program aims to minimize potential legal risks and foster positive customer relationships.
Recognizing the need to address identified shortcomings in vehicle quality management, THACO AUTO launched a dedicated training program on March 14. This program targeted Provincial Company quality management personnel, including experts and staff responsible for vehicle quality management and business support services in the southern region. The training covered key areas such as quality control flowcharts, regulatory compliance evaluation, quality management procedures, and quality checks during new vehicle receiving and storage.
THACO AUTO also delivered a Truck & Bus product training for non-automotive technical sales staff and Bus & Truck business personnel nationwide. Through an online training program led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Oanh and Mr. Le Quang Tuyen, lecturers of THACO College, participants gained a clear understanding of the structure and basic operating principles of engine systems, transmission systems, and other key components on bus & truck models. The program also delved into the production and assembly processes of these vehicles, equipping participants with comprehensive product knowledge. This program continued until the end of April 2024.
The rich content, varied formats, and practical focus of these training programs equip employees with a broader understanding of their roles, fostering more creative problem-solving, strengthening connections among colleagues and fostering a more positive team spirit.
THACO AUTO plans to further diversify its training offerings, particularly by expanding the range of skills covered and incorporating in-depth practical exercises tailored to specific target groups. Additionally, the company will implement skill assessments and competitions to gauge employee capabilities, informing the development of tailored training roadmaps and programs.
