THACO KIA is the first passenger car manufacturing plant in Vietnam which has been receiving the latest technologies from Kia Corporation (South Korea) to modernize its production lines. With its advanced automated production lines and digital management, the plant is capable of making a full range of Kia passenger cars that meet Kia's technical standards, serving the domestic and export markets in Southeast Asia.

Each Kia model has its own welding line with automatic body transport systems and welding positioners to increase precision and ensure Kia quality standards.
The painting line includes an automated ED line and a topcoat line using Wet on Wet technology, along with automated paint supply systems, meeting all color requirements.
The assembly line is automatically upgraded, connected to a digital management system to ensure technical standards and high precision in each stage (from interior components, chassis to final assembly).
The tester line includes modern testing equipment for headlights, brakes, etc. to meet Kia technical standards. Before rolling out, all vehicles must undergo road tests on a 2,4km track with fully simulated terrain.
